 A Good and Great Message for you

Dear All:

Greetings from Taiwan.

I am writing to you is to provide you a good and great message of the Course of

" 2nd Instructional Course for Facial Paralysis Reconstruction on November 2-5, 2020 at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. Because of the outbreak of COVID-19, we postpone the Course date from April 13-16 to the new date, Nov. 2-5, 2020.

 

It is a 3-Day meeting. Every day has 4 live surgeries in the morning and 8 to 10 lectures in the afternoon. All reconstructive surgeries related with facial paralysis reconstruction will be seen in the Course: 

On the 1st day, you can see four different techniques of Cross-Facial Nerve Graft (CFNG) (Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan; Massachusetts Eye and Ear, USA; The Hospital for Sick Children, Canada; and The Royal Children Hospital, Australia techniques.  

On the 2nd day, you can see four different techniques of using "One Stage Free Muscle Transplantation For Facial Reanimation by using contralateral facial nerve branches, masseter nerve, spinal accessory nerve, and dual nerves of masseter and CFNG.

On the last 3rd day, you can see different ancillary reconstructions, including

    Labbe's technique of temporalis sliding for facial reanimation, platysma free muscle transplantation for lagophthalmos, corneal neurotization, upper lip revision, and eyelid revision.  

Whole live surgeries will proceed from 8:30 AM to 2:00PM, then move to the afternoon lectures. On the last day we will have an exciting panel for "Q and A". All participants will learn a lots from the "Live Surgery" "Lectures" and "Discussion". 

 

In addition, we arrange a special time (2 hours) for e-Posters and/or e-Videos. e-Poster will have a 3 minute presentation, and e-Video will have one minute showing time. Three best are chosen by the participants' votes and awarded. 

 

I would like to tell you that the Course is very unique and valuable. More than 10 International experts will share their experiences with you.
